For companies new to the Elemental ‘ohana, Cohort Kickoff is designed to introduce you to the Elemental team and your fellow entrepreneurs. The day is structured around a series of activities, workshops, and facilitated discussions aimed at building relationships, sharing insights, and setting the tone for our work together. Anticipate a full day of programming and activities for the CEO and one additional C-suite member.

It’s a family affair! We know traveling for work can be a strain for family life. This year, we are designing the summit to welcome partners and families. There will be special segments where your family can join for meals and programming, and we are working to set up blocks for childcare.
We are excited to be hosting the summit at The Ritz-Carlton O‘ahu, Turtle Bay (formerly known as Turtle Bay Resort) on the North Shore of Oʻahu. It's about 90 minutes from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (more on transportation to and from the airport under FAQs), and is surrounded by agricultural and conservation land home to native plants and animals.

Elemental is covering the majority of the expenses for this event. The full cost for lodging, shuttle services, all meals/events, and scheduled sessions/activities adds up to over $6,500 per attendee, but we only ask that you cover:

🏠 Your lodging at a $950 flat fee for a single occupancy room
If this cost will be prohibitive for you, please let us know in your registration and we can discuss further. We will be reviewing requests on a case-by-case basis. If your attendance is confirmed, we will work with you to find a manageable budget.
Please know this is a high-level agenda that is subject to change as the program and activities are finalized. A briefing book with a detailed schedule will be sent to confirmed attendees prior to the summit.
We expect attendees to participate in all sessions of Cohort Kickoff and CEO & Leadership Summit. Please plan to be together from breakfast to dinner each day. Don’t worry, we will work in breaks so that you can take quick meetings and check email and have certain portions of the event available for your partner/family to join.

The CEO & Leadership Summit is an exclusive event for Elemental portfolio companies CEOs and C-Suite. We are currently offering a spot for one representative per company to attend CEO & Leadership Summit (with the exception of the latest cohort, who are required to have two participants). If more than one leader at your company is interested in attending, please note in the RSVP who else would like to attend. We will add the individual(s) to the waitlist and follow up if spots open up in November-December.
Cohort Kickoff (for new companies joining the portfolio in 2024 only) will take place right before CEO & Leadership Summit. We require both Cohort Kickoff attendees to stay and participate in CEO & Leadership Summit.
You are welcome to bring partners and family members to stay with you at The Ritz-Carlton O’ahu, Turtle Bay while you are participating in the summit. The majority of CEO & Leadership Summit meals and activities are for portfolio company members only, however, we have integrated opportunities for partners to join in certain programming and meal elements. More information on family activities to come.
If you decide to travel with your partner or family, please indicate this in your registration to help us keep track of headcounts for portions of the event where there are opportunities for them to participate. If your plans change, please let us know so that we can maintain accuracy with our counts.

Arrival for Cohort Kickoff (newest cohort only) on February 10: our programming will begin on Monday, February 10 at 6:00pm HT with a welcome dinner. Resort check-in will be at 4:00pm HT. Should you choose to come early, we are offering an optional extra night (arrival February 9), covered by Elemental, to give you some time to decompress, relax, and enjoy the company of your fellow entrepreneurs before the programming starts (see Location & Lodging section).
We recommend making sure your flight lands no later than 2:00 pm HT on February 10. It will be about a 90 minute drive to the hotel, depending on traffic, and we want to make sure you have enough time to check-in and get settled before our welcome dinner.
Arrival for CEO & Leadership Summit on February 11: Our programming will begin on Tuesday, February 11 at 5:30pm HT with a welcome dinner. Resort check-in will be at 4:00pm HT.
We recommend making sure your flight lands no later than 2:00 pm HT on February 11. It will be about a 90 minute drive to the hotel, depending on traffic, and we want to make sure you have enough time to check-in and get settled before our welcome dinner.
Departure for CEO & Leadership Summit on February 14: Our final programming will be an optional breakfast offering on Friday, February 14. Resort check-out will be at 11:00 am HT. We recommend making sure your flight does not depart earlier than 4:00pm HT on February 14. This will allow enough buffer time for check-out, travel to the airport (plan for a 90 minute drive), and the recommended 2 hour advance arrival prior to the flight departure.
Arrival on February 10 for Cohort Kickoff: We will not be coordinating buses since this group is much smaller. Please plan to coordinate your own transportation from the airport to the resort. The cost for a ride-share from HNL airport to the resort is typically between $60 and $90. Transportation by car can take up to 90 minutes to the hotel, depending on traffic.
Arrival on February 11 for CEO & Leadership Summit: We will be coordinating buses to shuttle attendees to the resort upon arrival to Honolulu. Bus departure times are 11:30am, 12:30pm, and 2:30pm.
Departure on February 14: We will be coordinating a bus to depart The Ritz-Carlton O’ahu, Turtle Bay at 11:30am. Depending on traffic, we expect the bus to arrive at the airport between 1:00 - 1:30 pm. Please coordinate your departure flights accordingly. The bus will also make a final stop at our offices in Downtown Honolulu for those that want a place to work or wait for a later flight.
Departure on February 15: We will not be coordinating transportation to the airport on this day. Please plan to coordinate your own transportation from the resort to the airport.
Upon confirming receipt of your registration, you will receive a separate email requesting payment via Quickbooks. We ask that your cost share payment be made via credit card for the fastest processing time. If you would prefer to pay via a different payment method, please reach out to events@elementalexcelerator.com.
Can I upgrade my room or extend my stay or book additional rooms at The Ritz-Carlton O’ahu, Turtle Bay beyond what is covered by Elemental?
Yes, room upgrade requests can be made and will be based on availability. You will be responsible for the cost of any difference in room rate.
Yes, if you would like to extend your stay before or after the dates covered by Elemental, you are more than welcome to do so. Many of the CEO & Leadership Summit attendees will be extending an extra night so you will be in good company! You will be responsible for any additional night charges. We are able to extend Elemental's discounted group rate of $479 (plus taxes and discounted resort fee) for a standard Ocean View room up to 3 days prior (February 8-10) and up to 3 days after (February 14-16) the primary covered event dates.
Yes, you can book additional rooms for family. You will be responsible for any additional rooms booked. We are able to extend Elemental's discounted group rate of $479 (plus taxes and discounted resort fee) for a standard Ocean View room from February 8-16.
If you wish to make any room upgrades, extend your stay, or book additional rooms, please email us at events@elementalexcelerator.com and we will work with the hotel to adjust your reservation accordingly. All upgrades, extensions, or additional rooms are subject to availability of rate and availability of group room category rooms at the time of the request.
If you have received Summit registration confirmation, but should need to cancel your attendance, please email us at events@elementalexcelerator.com as soon as possible. This will allow us to work with the hotel to cancel your reservation. Cancellations before December 13th will be eligible for a full refund of the $950 flat fee.
